Leigh Genesis F.C are looking to recruit an open age assistant/coach for the new 2024/25 season and welcome interested persons to come forward and contact the club. We are looking for a passionate, knowledgable and committed person to strenghen the coaching team.
Our First Team & Reserves currently compete in the Manchester football League, with the First team in division 2 and the reserves in division 4. A talented group of youth and experienced players, having a steady season both finishing mid table.

Bonuses to the role:
•Part of a large grassroots club with a youth pathway into open age
•Home Matches at Leigh Sports Village on the Floodlit 4G
•Access to changing facilities, showers and refreshments
•Train on 4G floodlit facilities at Lowton high school (currently Tuesday 8-9pm)

What the role involves:
•Assisting with the planning and delivery of effective training sessions
•Assisting on Matchdays with pre and post match operations
•Support the First/reserve team manager to link with our youth teams and promote players through the pathway
•Assisting with the administrative duties
•Be a good support for the open age players

The role will require the potential Assistant/Coach to undertake the ‘‘player welfare in open age football course online” and also complete a “DBS check”. This will all be provided and supported by the club if not already withheld.

Any persons interested in the role should submit an ‘expression of interest’ email to the club secretary at rob.atherton@leighgenesis.co.uk or contact 07847 898343 for further discussion.
